Dr. Geoffrey Ibe

Dr. Geoffrey Ibe is registered with the General Medical Council (GMC), registration number: 7139729, and is an associate member of the British Association of Hair Restoration Surgery (BAHRS), which promotes the understanding and reputation of hair transplant surgery in the United Kingdom and Ireland.

After graduating with a degree in medicine at London King’s college, Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital in 2011, Dr. Geoffrey worked for the NHS and progressed to complete his hair transplant residency on Harley Street.

Dr. Geoffrey quickly became one of our leading hair restoration surgeons who is highly proficient in FUE (Follicular Unit Excision), FUT (Follicular Unit Transplant) and FUE & FUT combination procedures for advanced hair loss, including hair transplant repair cases.

Dr. Geoffrey Ibe is a qualified surgeon having successfully completed his exams with the Royal College of Surgeons in 2014, and has in-depth experience within General Surgery, ENT Surgery and Urology & Andrology surgical specialities. In addition, Dr. Geoffrey is also a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP).

Dr. Geoffrey is an active associate member of the British Association of Hair Restoration Surgery, regularly attending meetings and seminars across the UK, sharing knowledge and ideas. Dr. Geoffrey is also a member of the World FUE Institute (WFI), which specialises in the technological advancements in FUE hair transplant methodology.

With a very detailed eye and a meticulous artistic nature, Dr. Geoffrey Ibe focuses heavily on the finer aspects of what makes a hair transplant look natural, in particular soft micro-irregular hairline design. Dr. Geoffrey is currently using the UGraft Zeus system at our Harley Street clinic in London for greater quality control & donor hair management when performing FUE hair transplant surgery.

Dr. Geoffrey firmly believes in listening to his patients and learning how hair loss affects them personally, before educating them on the viable options available. He advocates conservative, medical and surgical treatments for hair loss and works together with his patients to find the best treatment for their unique case.

Dr. Geoffrey practises from our London surgical centre, working with our core Harley Street medical team. Dr. Geoffrey was featured in The Guardian talking about hair loss, mental health and hair restorative surgery.

In addition to his hair restoration skills, Dr. Geoffrey is also combining Platelet Rich Plasma therapy (PRP), and stem cell treatments to help strengthen and maintain hair.
