Dr. Grahame Shaw
Dr. Grahame Shaw is one of Westminster Medical Group’s leading hair transplant surgeons based at our Harley Street clinic in London. Dr. Grahame is fully registered with the General Medical Council (GMC), registration number: 7460905, and is an associate member of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS), the leading governing body for hair restorative surgery. Dr. Grahame is also a member of the World FUE Institute (WFI), which specialises in technological advancements in FUE hair transplant surgery.
Dr. Grahame completed his medical training at Glasgow University after serving many years in the Metropolitan Police force in London. Dr. Grahame then progressed his training in surgery undertaking a clinical fellowship in orthopaedics followed by a clinical fellowship at the Queen Victoria Hospital in West Sussex in burns and plastic surgery before embarking on his chosen speciality of hair restorative surgery.
Dr. Grahame is highly proficient in FUE (Follicular Unit Excision) procedures for male, female, afro-textured hair, and transgender patients, specialising in hair transplant in London. He also performs beard and eyebrow restorative surgery.
With a meticulous eye for detail, Dr. Grahame specialises in soft natural hairline design, utilising finer calibre hairs for the frontal rows to create soft undetectable results. Dr. Grahame is also using sapphire incision blades for high density work and typically completes 35-55 FU/cm2 of density depending on the patient’s end goal.
Dr. Grahame keeps himself up to date with medical training and certification in First Aid/CPR, Health & Safety, Anaphylaxis for Healthcare, Infection Control, Leadership & Management, Moving & Handling, COSHH, Fire Safety and Safeguarding Adults.
Dr. Grahame is genuinely committed to working together with his patients to achieve the results they want and understanding how hair loss impacts them personally. Hair loss is very meaningful to Dr. Grahame as he himself underwent a hair transplant procedure after experiencing years of hair loss.
