FUE Hair Transplant
Follicular Unit Excision (FUE)
The FUE hair transplant is a one day outpatient procedure performed under local anaesthetic at our Harley Street clinic in London. During the procedure, genetically strong hairs, unaffected by male pattern hair loss, are relocated from the back of your head to the recipient area where they will continue to grow permanently.
FUE stands for Follicular Unit Excision, an advanced technique which uses a custom micro punch, less than 1mm in diameter, to strategically remove individual hair grafts from your safe zone donor region.
Once harvested by the surgical team, your hair follicles are precisely trimmed to a uniform size under high magnification prior to implanting them into your recipient area.
We will shave your hair at the back and sides of your head for the FUE extraction process, leaving your hair longer on top, if preferred.
At our Harley Street clinic in London, we utilise state-of-the-art FUE hair transplant techniques to isolate your precious follicles ensuring that your finite donor resource is dispersed with utmost precision.
You can expect hair transplant results to be seen at 6-12 months post op, with continued maturation up to 18 months until the final result.
BENEFITS OF FUE

Enables you to wear your hair shorter with no linear scar
